From the band…
First of all we really want to thank
Greece Update and Nikos, in specific for the interest he repeatedly shows for
the vision we have. We appreciate that very much.
About the band…
They
are a Hip Hop-Indie Rock band from young, who first appeared on stage at the Athens
School Festival 2016, leaving behind then a sense of hope and faith with their
presence. On April 3, 2016, they made their second appearance, rocking in one
of the most historic stages of Athens, the AN CLUB.
Very famous Greek and many famous foreign artists occasionally have played there.
The audience varies several age groups, but most of them are young people or students, as is reasonable. It was an honor when the band “Line Out” and “The Loud Silence”, two bands which we met the Athens School Festival and played together, suggested us to do a live concert at AN CLUB. At that evening, the club had around 100 people.

The BLANCOS have 4 key members
with whom we started.
There are three other persons also
assisting us whenever the time is available.
Band members:
JGard / Giannis Gardelis, 18.
(Front man, is writing the lyrics & music)
Haris Bassos, 18.
(Bass guitar, composing music and electronic production
of the songs we use at some of our live
concerts)
Franco Faslliou, 20.
(Drams. Wrote and composed music of the song “Ευγνώμων”,
ie., I am grateful and one of the most known songs of our band)
Giorgos Kiamili, 18.
(Electric-acoustic guitar. The main characteristic
is his laughter... !)
Kyle Macris, 19.
(Electic-acoustic guitar. He is a recent member of the
band and he are glad to have him with us, but most of all we appreciate him as
a person)
The first English track and the possible release of their first
album.
The
"Promises" is the first song of the band with English lyrics. The
music was written by Haris and lyrics by Giannis.
The live first performance of the song was great and people
were touched. This song is probably be on the first album that will begin working
on this summer. As per the included lyrics about God. The whole presence of the
band created several reactions and queries. It was also the occasion to make
many beautiful discussions backstage, before and after the concert. We praise
God, who blesses the purpose for that, this band exists.

A possible new presence for the
refugees?
For sure we have not stopped with the events for the Refugees
of course and we are almost sure
That we will do something for them very soon. It is our Duty and the least we can do.
We will inform you about this event, of course, when
the time will come ..!
The band is preparing themselves for the
final school exams in Greece. How do you cope with stress?
This year Giannis and Haris, will give exams so by the
end of May, so they will be under pressure.
The stress of the exams, can be faced satisfactorily,
when you have in your mind that your efforts are
rewarded and that God has the best plans for you, if you do your part.
